Radiologic Technologist

Responsibilities:

· Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.

· Operate and maintain X-ray and other imaging equipment safely and effectively.

· Follow physician orders precisely to capture required anatomical images.

· Ensure proper patient identification and maintain accurate imaging records.

· Use radiation protection measures to minimize exposure for patients and staff.

· Monitor patients during imaging for comfort and safety.

· Process and review images to ensure diagnostic quality before submission to radiologists.

· Maintain and calibrate radiologic equipment as needed.

· Comply with all health, safety, and privacy regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.).

· Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients before, during, and after procedures.

· Assist radiologists with specialized procedures as needed (e.g., fluoroscopy, mammography).
