Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Maintain aseptic techniques and precautions.

2. Transport patients to the radiology suite.

3. Ensure proper patient identification.

4. Assist patients on and off exam tables.

5. Explain procedures professionally.

6. Operate equipment efficiently and cleanly.

7. Position patients for imaging.

8. Use alternative positions as needed.

9. Minimize patient discomfort with aids.

10. Follow radiation safety protocols.

11. Set appropriate exposure and treatment factors.

12. Assist radiologist during procedures.

13. Apply sterile techniques in procedures.

14. Perform image-producing tasks.

15. Maintain a clean, supplied environment.

16. Handle administrative tasks (filing, scheduling, etc.).

17. Implement department policies.
