Job Description
Our Client, a Healthcare company, is looking for a Radiologic Technologist for their State College, PA location. Responsibilities:
+ Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures and respond to patient questions.
+ Perform diagnostic procedures for patients as ordered by physicians.
+ Performs patient care/technical duties and procedures in an accurate and timely fashion.Greets each patient in a pleasant manner.
+ Reviews requests and evaluates order for appropriate exam and diagnosis.
+ Always checks for two identifiers: Name and Date of Birth.
+ Explains the procedure in terms that the patient understands.
+ Contacts the appropriate individuals for proper scheduling/orders: doctor’s offices and/or nurses.
+ Prepares and positions patients for examinations.
+ Determines and uses proper technique to position patient for view/examination.
+ Takes correct views for examination...
