Overview

The Radiological Technologist will work within the Radiology team at UBC Hospital and Vancouver General Hospital to produce diagnostic radiographs and conduct various diagnostic procedures, independently or in collaboration with radiologists and other physicians.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic radiographs and conduct various diagnostic procedures.
• Apply best practice radiation safety principles to protect patients, staff and the general public; complete required documentation and administrative tasks.
• Monitor the patient during procedures, including equipment performance and maintain cleanliness of the examination room.
• Maintain and advance clinical competence by participating in committees, teams, and approved research projects.
