Key Responsibilities

• Interpret medical images to diagnose illnesses and injuries
• Perform and supervise imaging procedures and interventional radiology techniques
• Prepare detailed and accurate diagnostic reports
• Consult with referring physicians regarding imaging findings and treatment options
• Ensure radiation safety and proper use of imaging equipment
• Monitor imaging quality standards and patient protection protocols
• Perform image-guided procedures (e.g., biopsies, drainages) when qualified
• Correlate imaging results with medical history and laboratory findings
• Maintain precise and confidential medical records
• Supervise radiologic technologists and imaging staff
• Stay current with medical advances and imaging technologies
