RADIOLOGY INTERN - DIAGNOSTIC RADIOLOGY - CONTINGENT / PRN - ROTATING SHIFT

GENERAL SUMMARY:

SHIFT: Rotating Shift, Hours Will Vary Based on the Need of the Department
+ Provides services to patients within accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations, under the direct supervision of a registered technologist.
+ Prepares for and assists the supervising technologists and physicians in a variety of imaging procedures.
+ Prepares contrast media and medications as directed by a supervising technologist.
+ Assists in maintaining a clean, safe and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas and dressing rooms.
+ Transports patients to and from medical imaging.
+ Assists in moving patients to, from and between radiographic tables, stretchers and wheelchairs.
+ Assists patients with general comfort care.
+ Completes paper and computer workflow procedures as directed by a supervising technologist.
