The Rail Signals Maintainer is located in the GTA and typically reports directly to the Foreperson/Supervisor. Their primary focus is maintaining, testing and improving signals at way-side signal and grade crossing locations in accordance with Federal standards. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:


+ Test, maintain and improve grade crossing warning, AEI, or defect detector systems

+ Loading and unloading tools and equipment to and from various vehicles and machines

+ Comply with CROR standards around signaling as well as Hours-of-Service Law

+ Collaborate with local railroad customers, suppliers and stakeholders

+ Conduct themselves in a safe manner
