Raw Material Planner (Mobeni, KZN)

The Raw Materials Planner is responsible for ensuring that all raw materials are available for production at the correct time and in the correct quantities. This role ensures optimal stock availability while maintaining accurate inventory levels and minimising shortages, excess stock, and obsolescence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Plan and manage raw material requirements in line with production schedules and forecasts
2. Monitor stock levels and place purchase or replenishment orders timeously
3. Liaise with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials
4. Coordinate closely with production, planning, and warehouse teams to ensure supply continuity
5. Track material shortages and proactively resolve supply disruptions
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records on the system
7. Assist in preparing stock, usage, and planning reports
