Raw Material Planner

About the Role
Under the management of the Plant Supply Chain Manager, the Raw Material Planner will be responsible for the ordering of raw materials & packaging to be delivered at the site, e.g. packed raw materials ordered from the warehouse to the site and bulk raw materials ordered from the supplier to the site. The Raw Material Planner will work closely with the Master planners as well as the production schedulers. Additionally, the Raw Material Planner will participate in key initiatives and projects to support continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Place orders for raw materials towards the warehouse (for packed) & the supplier (for bulk) to ensure proper execution of the production schedule/plan
Maintain raw material orders in case of adjustment in the schedule and communicate those changes with the relevant stakeholders
Coordinate with production schedulers in case of RM shortage or delay in the delivery from supplier
