R&D Chemist

Role Summary:
Lead and mentor the formulation team, review and validate cosmetic formulations, and ensure products are compliant, stable, and production-ready. Work closely with Production, QA, and Regulatory teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide and mentor R&D chemists; review formulations before lab sampling.
• Ensure compliance with NPRA regulations and ASEAN Cosmetic Directive.
• Review stability, packaging compatibility, and preservative tests.
• Support scale-up, pilot trials, and commercial manufacturing troubleshooting.
• Optimize raw material usage and evaluate alternatives for cost or regulatory needs.
• Collaborate with QA, Production, Purchasing, and Regulatory for smooth product launch.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or related field.
• 2-3 years in cosmetic/personal care R&D, with scale-up and manufacturing experience.
