R&D Lab Assistant

General Description

The R&D Lab Assistant supports the Research and Development (R&D) team in the operation, maintenance, and upkeep of laboratory machines and equipment. This role ensures that tools, machinery, and testing systems function properly to support research, testing, prototyping, and product development activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate laboratory equipment such as life cycle testing machines, 3D printers, precision ovens, paint booths, UV curing units, silk-screen and pad printing stations, soldering stations, laser marking/etching tools, silicone mixing equipment, and reliability testing machines.
• Support experiments, testing, and measurements as instructed by R&D engineers.
• Prepare, collect, label, store, and dispose of samples, materials, and formulations according to SOPs and lab protocols.
• Assist in fabrication, evaluation, and validation of new and existing jigs, fixtures, tooling, and equipment.
