R&D Lab Technician - R&D (Kitchener)

Responsibilities

• Test all new materials that may be used in the mixing process
• Coordinate the mixing and testing of all current materials
• Operate all lab equipment
• Assist in conducting studies of new ingredients and compounds
• Prepare reports based on test results
• Interact with compounders, technical staff, lab personnel, and production associates to ensure procedures and tests are performed to meet requirements
• Additional duties as assigned

• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a safe and expedient manner

Assets

• Knowledge of rubber mixing and testing
• College or university education in a related field
• Quality training
• Previous lab experience
