R&D PCB Layout Engineer (Penang)

Qualifications

• BS or higher in electrical engineering related major.
• Experience with PCB design tools such as PADS, Allegro, etc.
• Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes.
• Self‑motivated, hard‑working, able to complete assignments under urgent schedules and high design requirements.

Job Description

• Responsible for PCB layout designs of RF, high‑speed analog and/or digital circuit boards using PADS Layout.
• Work closely with design engineers to ensure circuit requirements are well defined and incorporated into the board design.
• Generate Gerber and drill files, fabrication drawings and assembly drawings.
• Use PCB-aided tools to inspect and verify the designs.
• Perform PCB design peer reviews per internal checklist.
• Attach documents to file system after peer review is done.
