Product Design EngineerPosition Objective
Responsible for the design, development, validation, and implementation of new products, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, UL standards, and applicable international regulations, while supporting successful product launches and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
3+ years of experience in product design and development within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of conductor and insulation materials.
Knowledge of UL standards, CSA, ISO, IPC, and applicable electrical and safety regulations.
Experience with product certification and compliance processes.
Knowledge of insulation and jacketing materials such as PVC, PE, XLPE, PUR, TPU, and related extrusion processes.
Experience with conductive materials including copper, aluminum, shielding, braiding, terminals, and connectors.
