R&D Technician

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for performing assigned projects/activities to ensure that the research and development functions of the department are achieved in accordance with set corporate objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

Performs color matching jobs as per established formula guidelines and procedure.

Prepares pertinent panel and paint samples for every assigned project.

Records and submit color matching formula and property evaluation data in laboratory color matching form for every new product developed.

Ensures accuracy of submitted samples and pertinent paint data for every assigned project.

Make sure that color matching formula is confirmed before finalization.

Prepares small production batches in the laboratory.

Assists chemists /technical staff in the performance of special projects/activities as required.

Coordinates well with other technical staff relative to the performance of his assignment.
