Rebar Engineer

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for supervision and inspection of proper rebar installation. Also monitors & implements compliance to company's safety & quality standards

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Willing to be assigned in Puerto Princesa, Palawan
• Reviews the structural and architectural plans as well as precast drawings.
• Ensure that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are given to the appropriate staff, subcontractors and suppliers as applicable.
• Performs rebar requisition and ensures timely delivery on site.
• Secures approved copy of cutting list diagrams.
• Checks fabrication of materials based on measurement.
• Gives instructions to the Foreman, Leadman, Steelman on proper installation of rebar.
• Monitors the delivery of stocks of all rebar requirements with stock clerks on site.
• Evaluates and checks accomplishment based on submitted billings.
