What Newrest expect for this function• The Storeman’s primary responsibility is to ensure that all items needed in the production areas are supplied both accurately and timely every day.
• Accurately complete all quality control procedures and documents as part of the issuing process. (Keep accurate thawing logs, issue according to FEFO, etc.)
• Record and report any discrepancies with regards to issuing, such as shortages, damaged or expired items, to supply office.
• Regular and timely attendance is a requirement for this position.
• Perform all duties in the safest manor possible.
• Report potential hazards and unsafe work conditions to team lead, lead hand, or manager.
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:
• Perform regular counts of stored materials.
