Recreation Assistant

Summary The Arts and Crafts Center provides a wide variety of services to the base. We host a variety of arts and craft classes for children and adults, to include our Paint and Sip nights. Our facility offers crafts made by local crafters like painted Alaska themed wooden bears, saws, Alaska themed items along with crocheted items, and moose shaped planters. Must be 18+ years of age. This announcement is in conjunction with the Nonappropriated Fund FSS Hiring Events. Responsibilities Assists assigned personnel in all areas of the Skills Development Program. Operates a variety of equipment in assigned area, to include computerized engravers, copiers, lettering machines, heat presses, air brushes, pouring tables, kilns, mat cutters, choppers and hand power tools. Responsible for operating the cash register, collects money, makes change and issues receipts.
