Recreation Assistant

Summary This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Outdoor Recreation at JBSA Randolph AFB. This is a flex category position no guaranteed hours per week, may work up to 40 hours per week. Scheduled as needed. Employees appointed to a flexible category position are not eligible for benefits. Frequently lifts or moves objects weighing 10 pounds and occasionally over 50 pounds with assistance. Continuous standing, walking, frequent stooping, reaching, pulling and bending. Responsibilities The purpose of this position is to provide customer service and to assist in the day-to-day operation of the Community Services Mall. Performs a variety of duties and responsibilities in support of the day-to-day operation of Outdoor Recreation programs and the car wash. This includes equipment loan and rental, RV Storage lots, U-Store-Its, Base Park, POV Resale Lot, Swimming Pools, Archery Range, and Car Wash. Checks customer eligibility.
