Recreation Director (Eatonia)

Key Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and oversee community recreation programs, events, and initiatives. Coordinate seasonal operations including arena and pool programming. Oversee the planning, operation, and staffing of the arena kitchen. Manage bookings and day-to-day operations of recreation facilities. Identify and apply for grant funding opportunities. Promote programs and events through social media, local communications, and community outreach. Work collaboratively with the Recreation Board, Town of Eatonia, and community partners. Qualifications and Skills

Experience in recreation, event planning, community development, food service, or a related field is an asset. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a volunteer board. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with marketing or social media promotion is considered an asset.
