RECREATION SPECIALIST (YOUTH ACTIVITIES)

The primary purpose of this position is to plan, manage, and administer comprehensive year-round youth physical fitness and sports programs and facilities used in conducting the activities at Air Force(AF) installations. Responsibilities Plans, develops, organizes, and administers diverse, multi-faceted and comprehensive physical fitness and sports programs. Acts as Chapter Director of the National Alliance for Youth Sports (NAYS) and/or certified clinician for staff and volunteer training as mandated by Air Force directives. Administers sports, fitness, and instructional resource programs. In conjunction with the Youth Sports Program Director, procures, stores, disperses, repairs, replaces, and controls all youth sport and athletic equipment and supplies.
