The primary purpose of this position is: To plan, manage, and administer comprehensive year-round base youth fitness and sports program and the facilities used in conducting the activities at an Air Force installation. Responsibilities Plans, develops, organizes, manages, and supervises diverse, multi-faceted and comprehensive physical fitness and sports programs which include fitness, sports, nutritional and incentive programs, special events, intramural and extramural team and individual sports, and instructional programs. Supervises subordinate recreation specialists (two GS-07s or equivalent and below), contract employees and volunteers in the Youth Sports Programs.
