Recycling Support Ambassador

• Salary: $15 per hour
• Location: Islandwide (North, South, East, West, Central)
• Working Days: Up to 5 days per week (including weekdays & weekends), 40 hours per week
• Contract Period: 3 months (Apr to Jun 2026)

Job Descriptions

• Educate members of the public on identifying eligible recycling containers
• Guide residents on the correct use of designated recycling vending machines
• Encourage proper recycling behaviour and answer basic public queries
• Monitor machine usage and flag operational issues to supervisors
• Maintain a positive and approachable at all times
• Ensure the deployment area remains tidy and safe

Requirements

• Confident and comfortable engaging with the public
• Basic understanding of recycling or environmental initiatives preferred (training provided)
• Customer service or outreach experience is an advantage
