Red Seal Industrial Electrician

Position Purpose

: The Industrial Electrician installs, troubleshoots and repairs complex electrical and electronic equipment and distribution systems involving electrical and mechanical work of a broad nature.

Principle Accountabilities

Troubleshoot and repair automated manufacturing processes

Plan and install electrical and electronic components on a wide variety of equipment

Occasionally perform minor mechanical repairs

Manage personal workflow using a computerized maintenance system for work orders, parts, and work history

Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Essential Skills and Experience

Red Seal Industrial Electrician with a minimum of 3 years experience preferred

A strong understanding of control systems, Allen Bradley controllers, variable speed drives, networks and communications

General troubleshooting and work planning skills
