Reference Librarian Part-Time, Marlborough Public Library (Marlborough)

The Marlborough Public Library is seeking an enthusiastic, team player for a part-time (10 hours/week) job to join our Adult Services Department.

Duties include providing excellent customer service and hospitality at the Information desk, providing positive outcomes to patron issues, collection development for an assigned section, assisting with program planning.

This position includes working Sundays from September-May and Saturdays over the summer.

Qualifications

A successful candidate will have a positive attitude; a desire to help people; the ability to learn new technology and adapt well to change; strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Must be reliable. Familiarity with Spanish, Portuguese desirable.
