Job Description

  • Responsible for carry out preventative maintenance of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and systems.
  • Ensure routine checks and servicing are carried out on the air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and complete the requisite status logs.
  • Troubleshoot air conditioning/refrigeration equipment malfunctions, diagnose problems and perform maintenance on equipment. Complete logs detailing works carried out inclusive of parts utilized.
  • Make recommendations to replace equipment, if expected cost to repair exceeds possible replacement cost.
  • Responsible for the verification of refrigeration and air conditioning spares purchased/supplied and ensure that they are securely stored on the company's premises.
  • Requisition for materials required for the smooth operation of the refrigeration and air conditioning equipment and ensure adequate materials are order avoiding excessive wastage.
