Refrigeration Mechanic

**Summary:**



Seasonal Contract position supporting the National Science Foundation managed United States Antarctic Program as part of the Antarctic Support Contract (ASC). Refrigeration Mechanics perform refrigeration repair and maintenance on maintenance and construction projects, or any combination thereof, under the supervision of the Preventative Maintenance Foreman. Tasking is based on ASC schedule requirements.



**Position Responsibilities (not all inclusive):**



+ Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on refrigeration and cooling equipment in accordance with the preventive maintenance program. This includes installation and startup of refrigeration and cooling equipment utilizing special tools and equipment



+ Diagnose, repair, and perform scheduled Preventative Maintenance on existing refrigeration systems and equipment
