REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN

Overview: The Refrigeration Technician is generally responsible for ensuring the safe operation of plant and equipment used in Refrigeration System. He ensures that the routine maintenance of the refrigeration equipment is carried out according to the schedule.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assists the contractor during the installation of the newly acquired refrigeration equipment and other related tools and equipment.

· Perform hourly reading of all room temperature gauges (digital and dial) to ensure the condition of the room is maintained within the limit. If there is a deviation in the readings, he immediately reports it to his superior.

· Secures the Plant from shutting down by securing the condition of backup generator.

· Assists Team Leader to Perform Preventative Maintenance as required by maintenance program and on some urgent work without affecting the operations of the Plant.
