Job Description
As the Regional Category Manager at Copper Africa, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our strategic sourcing endeavors by optimising the procurement and management of commodities within the (HME & Mining) category. Your primary focus will be on value delivery and fostering operational excellence in category procurement processes.
OBJECTIVES
Support the development and execution of comprehensive sourcing strategies aligned with Copper Africa's business plan, focusing on cost optimisation, profitability targets, and shareholder value creation.
Develop, implement, and manage differentiated category-specific sourcing strategies, including detailed cost modelling, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), spend analysis, and proactive risk mitigation strategies.
Translate Copper Africa's strategic objectives into actionable sourcing initiatives.
