Regional Environmental Specialist

The Opportunity:

Provide broad-based project management and technical support to Marine Corps environmental programs. Support environmental program planning, strategic coordination, budgeting, and contracting activities. Conduct studies, analyses, and evaluations, applying technical expertise in geology, hydrology, risk assessment, and environmental investigation and remediation. Assist with the analysis and interpretation of applicable regulatory, policy, and guidance requirements. Perform research, analysis, data evaluation, and data interpretation to produce actionable findings. Conduct environmental audits and assist with developing solutions to programmatic shortfalls that can be applied throughout the region. Assist with the identification of programmatic deficiencies and provide recommendations on the development of Plans of Action and Milestones.
