Regional Operational Support Mechanical Engineer – Africa and Middle East

Position Description

The Barrick Africa & Middle East Team are seeking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer to join the Regional Team. The role will be responsible for providing professional mechanical engineering services to the sites in the region. As the Mechanical Engineer, you will be required to travel to the various sites in the region on a regular basis. The main focus of the role will be to provide operational support to the sites to ensure that the correct maintenance is executed and that maintenance activities are executed according to industry best practices, identify improvement opportunities to reduce equipment downtime and reduce running cost, provide project execution support and to provide oversight and assurance from a legislative and compliance perspective.
