Exciting Opportunity for Registered Recovery Nurse (Band 5) – In the Nottingham Area

MedicsPro are seeking experienced recovery nurses – Band 5 with recent NHS experience, who are looking for flexible extra shifts or full-time agency work within the Nottingham Area. This opportunity is to cover Monday - Sunday, day shifts, during the hours of 8am-8pm. Various Working Shifts Available.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare instruments and set up surgical equipment to ensure a sterile and efficient environment.


• Assist in positioning, preparing, and draping patients according to surgical procedures.


• Support the surgical team by scrubbing in for surgery and anticipating the surgeon's needs for equipment and instruments.


• Label and document medications and other items used in the operating room accurately.


• Monitor and record the patient's respiratory and cardiovascular signs throughout the procedure.
