JOB SUMMARY : Medical Technologist performs a variety of laboratory test and procedures to assist Physician in diagnosing, monitoring, treating and preventing disease.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Operates and maintain computer equipment in order to in-put, process, acquire and communicate patient data.

2. Assuring the integrity of the computer files and patient data, department billing activities, patient registration, technical and clerical support.

3. Independently drawing and processing blood specimen for the purpose of testing and analysis

4. Responsible to analysis, validation and implementation of methods and instrumentation.

5. Operates and maintains sophisticated instruments and equipment used in each area, able to properly set-up, calibrate, maintain, operate and shut down such instruments.

6. Accurately prepare and validate reagents standard, controls and calibration.
