Registered Medical Technologist

Job Description
The Registered Medical Technologist performs accurate, confidential drug tests in compliance with DOH, ISO, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Specimen Collection and Handling
Receive, document, and label urine, blood, or other biological samples.
Maintain strict chain-of-custody procedures to preserve specimen integrity.
Testing and Analysis
Conduct initial screening tests
Perform confirmatory drug analysis
Verify, validate, and release accurate test results.
Address discrepancies by performing repeat or confirmatory testing.
Quality Assurance and Compliance
Ensure compliance with DOH, ISO, or other regulatory standards.
Participate in internal and external proficiency testing programs.
Maintain complete and accurate laboratory documentation.
Equipment Operation and Maintenance
Operate, calibrate, and perform preventive maintenance on laboratory instruments.
