Registered Nurse - AgeCare Trilogy

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care to residents in accordance with required medical care and professional nursing practice. This role supervises the activities and provides direction to the Registered Practical Nurses and Personal Support Workers.

Responsibilities

• Implement AgeCare policies and procedures on the neighbourhood in collaboration with the Director of Care/Assistant Director of Care.
• Liaise with physicians and other members of the health care team, including external partners, and immediately notify the physician of any significant changes in resident status.
• Coordinate nursing and other services for residents within the neighbourhood and with other services within the residence.
• Provide supervision and direction to the Registered Practical Nurses and Personal Support Workers.
