+ Utilizes critical thinking and evidence-based practice in providing emergency care for patients of all ages. (infant through geriatric).

+ Functions effectively in the triage and/or charge nurse role when assigned

+ Prepares patients and equipment for examination and treatment by physicians in a timely manner.

+ Ensures appropriate charges are posted for patient care provided.
