Job Description
Summary The Cancer Care Program Coordinator (CCPC) is a Registered Nurse whose primary responsibility is to lead the Cancer Program by reviewing, assessing, and measuring outcomes related to the process involved in identifying cancer to include all modalities for cancer from the initial screenings through diagnostic studies. Responsibilities Major duties include, but are not limited to the following: Develops and implements the Cancer Program and ensures compliance and collaboration within the local facility and all VA Central Office Cancer Program initiatives. Maintains a knowledge base of current theory and treatment modalities by reading professional journals, attending conferences, clinic seminars and teleconferences. Prioritize responsibilities and collaborate with other professions and disciplines to ensuring optimal outcomes from a program level.
