Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit

Your Opportunity:

The RAH ICU is a 29-bed unit characterized by high acuity and high occupancy. The ICU cares for critically ill patients from medicine, surgery, obstetrics, gynecologic, neurosurgical, and trauma programs. The unit provides evidence-based services within an inter-disciplinary team model. Specialized services include acute ventilatory support; continuous and intermittent renal replacement for acute and chronic renal failure, and sepsis; therapeutic plasma exchange for hematological and auto-immune disorders; and critical care support for the regional bariatric program. The Code Blue and Rapid Response Teams for the Royal Alexandra Hospital include nurses from the Intensive Care Unit. The RAH ICU is focused on continued Quality Improvement, providing a supportive environment for our staff and students, and providing patients with the best care possible.
