The RN supports providers in an endocrinology clinic by delivering patient-focused care. This role includes both clinical and administrative duties, such as taking vitals, updating medications, assisting with exams, and helping patients manage chronic conditions like diabetes and thyroid disorders.
Responsibilities

+ Room patients and take vital signs, weight, and blood sugar readings

+ Update medications and patient history in the EMR

+ Assist with lab tests, exams, and procedures

+ Schedule appointments, follow-ups, and testing

+ Communicate with patients by phone or portal to review care plans and answer questions

+ Document all patient care accurately in the EMR

+ Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and organized

+ Follow safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines
