About the role

The MMH team ensures specific expertise is provided to women and their whānau who are either pregnant or up to 12 months post‑partum and experiencing moderate to severe mental health problems. This vacancy is situated at the Community Mental Health Centre on Springs Road, East Tamaki. Our supportive, professional team offers a range of interventions from assessment and crisis intervention to recovery/rehabilitation approaches and specific individual and group therapies.

Responsibilities

• Carry out assessments of pregnant and postpartum women and their whānau with moderate to severe mental health problems.
• Develop and implement individual treatment goals and plans in partnership with patients and whānau.
• Provide crisis intervention, recovery and rehabilitation support.
