With the women's prison population rising at a higher rate than forecast we are approaching our current maximum capacity across the women's network. In response to this, we are opening Auckland Region Women's Corrections Facility - Waikato Hub based at Waikeria Prison, managed by Auckland Region Women's Corrections Facility.
