Position Overview

Under the general supervision of the Program Team Manager, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital, the Clinical Practice Nurse – Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional registered nursing services for patients, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs. These services include independent nursing services, administration of prescribed medical treatments, a leadership role within the health care team, and coordination of patient care and discharge.

Experience

• Recent Surgical Nursing experience required.
• Nurses currently working on the Unit will be deemed qualified.

Education

• Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.

Certification / Licensure / Registration

• Current CRNM registration required.
