Registered Nurse - Neonatal ICU - Night

**Schedule**

Full Time: 72 Hours/Biweekly

Hours: 6:45pm - 7:15am

Every 3rd Weekend and Every Other Holiday Required

**Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)** is a 44-bed department where we care for over 450 ill newborns each year. Our patients are babies needing advanced care for prematurity, whole body cooling, surgery, hypoglycemia, sepsis, and more. Our NICU is a regional transport center for ill newborns.

**General Summary**

Provides professional nursing care at the beginner practitioner level in accordance with the principles of patient and family-centered care based on the nursing process and according to the clinical standards of the hospital. Acts as a primary nurse for patients on the unit. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. May require specialized skills depending on unit assignment.
