Overview

Reporting to the Unit Manager of the Wound Care Clinic & Inpatient Wound Care Team, the Registered Nurse performs assessment, intervention, and follow‑up care for ambulatory wound clinic patients and provides consultative services across the site as the content expert on the management of wounds as a member of the Inpatient Wound Care Team. The Registered Nurse makes recommendations and provides wound care management strategies and prevention therapies. The Registered Nurse is responsible for triaging patients, and scheduling patient visits in the ambulatory wound clinic and on the inpatient units. Works collaboratively with clerical staff, dietitians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, physicians, inpatient units, and related ambulatory clinics.
