Registered Nurse – Theatre/Post‑Anaesthetic Care Unit

Permanent, part time, rostered shifts (0.8FTE / 64hours per fortnight).

About the role

Primary responsibility and accountability for the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of peri‑operative care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care and a safe client journey across the peri‑operative care continuum.

Permanent, part‑time role available with eight days a fortnight. Hours of work: Mon‑Sun, with on‑call work mixed in with morning and afternoon shifts.

Qualifications and experience

• NZ Qualified Registered Nurse holding a current annual practising certificate.
• Preferably at least 2years of recent peri‑operative nursing experience.
• Positive can‑do attitude, sound clinical skills, adaptability to changing clinical situations, kind nature and pride in improving patient‑centred care.
