Job Description
A brand new opportunity exists for Registered Nurses to join a Post Anaesthetic Recovery Unit (PARU) Team on a permanent full-time basis at a private hospital located in Newcastle. ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be assisting with patients and their recovery postoperatively. Reporting to the Theatre Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital. REQUIREMENTSRelevant registration with AHPRA;
No minimum experience in the speciality required - transition to speciality position considered;
Willingness to learn and expand skills in a speciality nursing area;
Experience working across operating theatres, PARU, or in surgical nursing;
Demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate the care delivery needs ...
