Job Overview

Medcan is recruiting a part‑time Clinic Nurse (RN) to join the York Mills clinic at 4120 Yonge St. The role involves delivering screening and primary care nursing services during Year‑Round Care clinic appointments, providing nursing consultation, and working closely with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Immunization and vaccination education and administration
• Health assessment and teaching on cardiac risk factors, immunizations, and other nursing responsibilities
• Primary care nursing procedures such as ear syringing, dressing changes, suture/staple removal, and assisting physicians with basic nursing skills
• Administration of maintenance medications (Vitamin B12, testosterone, allergy serums)
• Perform venipuncture, process blood samples, and maintain accurate client and specimen records in the LIS
