Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS:Education, Training And ExperienceRegistration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant
Graduate of a recognized Perinatal Nursing specialty program.
Current CPR Basic Rescuer.
Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certificate
Fetal Health Surveillance Course Certificate
Breastfeeding Course Certificate
Two (2) years recent related experience; OR
an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Skills And AbilitiesAbility to apply the nursing process effectively in a well-organized manner to the care of assigned patients as required by the hospital and described in BC College of Nurses and Midwives Standared of Nursing Practice.
Demonstrate sound organizational, problem solving and teaching skills.
Demonstrate good judgement, observation and patient assessment skills.
