We have an exciting position in our program for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) at the Royal Alexandra Hospital In-centre Hemodialysis Unit. The RN works to provide hemodialysis treatment to patients in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team in a fast-paced environment. The RN delivers comprehensive patient and family-centered care to renal patients. The RN practices within the philosophy and guidelines of the Alberta Kidney Care – North (AKCN) to provide leadership, critical thinking, clinical judgment, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care to promote, maintain, or restore health, prevent illness, injury, and disability to the renal patient. The RN practices nursing care according to Hemodialysis Nursing Specialty Scope of Practice, regulating body, clinical policies, and nursing standards.
