The Labor & Delivery Department at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital is an extraordinarily high-volume maternity unit dedicated to caring for patients experiencing normal/natural childbirth, as well as complicated high-risk deliveries, patients with substance abuse, and pregnancy loss. The Labor & Delivery Department encompasses an OB emergency department, labor suite, OR, PACU, and ICU. You will work with many different OB disciplines and providers with various approaches to childbirth-including Resident physicians, family practice physicians, OB attending physicians, and midwives.
